Commission - WIP

This is GOING to be a Gohan x Trunks commission peice to one of my regular clients who LOVES the Truhan pairing.

I was so proud of how this background painting came out I wanted to share the work in progress.

To bad most of this will be covered up with Trunks and Gohan dressed in nothing but towels.

Seeing as I've never been in a mens locker room before I was flying sort of blind here, but I think it came out okay.

This is supposed to be the capsule corp training ground men's locker room.

I'll post a detail shot of the lockers here in a minute. I'm so anal retentive on detial even the OPEN LOCKER DOOR actually has accurate lettering an logos.

Very cool! I love the lockers with there name on them...very cool! I love the steam. And I agree with Mini I love the tile work. Nice job Fablespinner

Ooo, I'm excited for this already! ANYTHING with Trunks in it has all my attention; and it makes it that much more enticing that you've put so much detail into this already...*waits anxiously*

Wow, this is really great so far! Wonderful shading/coloring/lighting...your attention to detail really shows...great job D!

  Thanks! Some of the shadowing on the floor looks out of place (right now) because those casting the shadows are removed for now.

Wonderful so far! Though yours always are... I love the tile colouring especially.

The one thing that's bugging me a little... As the tiles recede into the background, the perspective seems a little warped, as though the floor curves upwards... Is that just me??

  Wait until the Characters are in there, it's the camera angle. I did draw it WITH the characters in there so the perspective looks okay when the main focus is in the "camera lens". I modeled the camera angle in the computer with perspective/horizon in mind.
  
  It does look like it's going up, because the camera is low and slightly upturned.

  I'm about to post it, the optical illusion for the most part vanishes with the figures in there.

  i really like the detail and color. but Minimaid is right. the perspective is off. it's too late to change though. just keep going

  Like I told her, it corrects itself when the figures are in there. (Optical Illusion) because of the camera angle I have slightly down and left. I modeled it 3D first. ^_^
  You'll see I'm about to upload the finished picture, that optical illusion goes away when they are in there.
