A quick graphite sketch of Sakura from Naruto. I drew this from a screen cap I found on the Internet. I did this basically for practice; right now in my art class, we're working on cross contour and changes in line weight. Plus, Naruto is a show I see myself falling in love with in the future, so it was a win-win situation!
I took this into PSP 7 and added the red tone and the 'buttonize' effect. I'm sorry this isn't cleaner, but my scanner is a piece of junk! [emoticon] Sakura doesn't belong to me! She's a Naruto cronie... [emoticon]

I love how she? looks. And the expression is awesome too. I think it's nice in those colors and the button effect does actually make it look like on old paper. And hihi, you're not alone with the scanner problem. Mine sucks too, but I won't be able to replace it in a while [emoticon] . Anyway, well done. I do think it would be impressive in color too though. Keep up the great work. [emoticon]

Ooo, thank you! [emoticon] I do see myself doing more Naruto fanart in the future, and more than likely I'll color those. This one was just for practice, but thanks a ton for the input!
And I HAVE to do something about this scanner...it's driving me crazy!!! [emoticon]

This is really cool karana! I like the effect you created in the photoshop that makes it look like parchment. I'm sorry about your scanner....my scanner is so-so, the 25 % of the time it actualy works at all...ha ha...evil scanners. Anyway, nice job! [emoticon]
