Tsuukai

I rare head to toe shot of one of my characters. I hate drawing feet/shoes.. >_<

Tsuukai is so handsome. This picture was a challenge. I actually used some anime references from one of my many Animage magz (I only buy the Japanese version...DO NOT like the American version)  Well when looking at the anatomy I actually shortened his legs a bit and added about 40 pounds to his frame.  I builked up his chest and arms and thickened his leg muscles.  Trust me it made a huge difference in the finished product. While there is a certain charm in the thin - sometimes scrawny build of a lot of anime guys I really do not like to make my characters that slim. 

Tsuukai is over six feet tall and weighs 165lbs.  He's no welter weight.  Even one of my smallest male characters Vendrevin has a medium build.  At 5'7 he weights 140 lbs.  Dremma is some what slimmer in appearance but not scrawny by any stretch at 6'1 and 150 lbs.  Nehra's my only heavy weight - just cause I'm fascinated by tall men.  At 7'2 in height and with that muscled physique he's pushing 375 lbs.  Grrrr! Sexay...

'Course Dremma has to be an expert at dodging 375 lbs of dead weight since Nehra is a bed hog!
