Equine-esque

Work I did for an event on a different site.

My words of inspiration were "equine-esque," and this is what came of it.

    I like the creature. I always enjoy the look of beasts and such, and this one has it all...just needs blue flames! Lol.

      I haven't drawn any dragons in a loooooong time. Heh, I probably should do something about that.

    I really like this but I'd love to know more about how you came up with this creature. It's really different.

      Before I started thinking of the horse, a mental image of the back legs popped into my head. I knew I wanted those feet...it just kind of went from there. The feet were planned, the rest just kind of followed.

      Not all that exciting, really...I just made it up as I went along. Ideas kept hitting while I was working. XD The only part that stumped me...the stripes. Took me a while to figure out how I wanted to do those.
