Hobbs the tiger dragon

Posted Apr 27, 2011, 4:38:15 PM UTC

I sculpt dragons for Windstone Editions, and I have a monthly raffle for our forum members. The prize for April is this young Oriental dragon named Hobbs.

He is a casting of an original sculpture that we have  produced in other colors. I airbrushed his special tiger fursuit with acrylic paint. He holds a dichroic globe in his paws, has glass eyes and has gold plated pewter horns.

I posted this picture because I saw that another Paperdemon member - "Aikya"  had posted a gorgeous drawing of a tiger-dragon. I thought I would add to the tiger-dragon collection here.

Ahhh, I'm so jealous of the winner now... D'=
    I love your sculpts...
And our rendition of dragons. The colours are so powerful, almost too much for me, yet it just draws me anyway.
And love the eyes as well
