Sun and Moon dragons

Posted May 5, 2011, 5:59:36 PM UTC

The Sun dragon is finished, he is in the background holding a dichroic chrystal globe. I sculpted the  Moon Dragon in the foreground as a companion for him, but, except for this one unfinished paint sample, she has never been produced.

I wanted the Moon dragon to be holding a different type of globe; like maybe a frosted  globe or a pearly one that could represent the moon,  but I couldn't find anything suitable. So I gave her a piece of cheese.

Although this dragon has been sitting around, ignored, for years,  I still hope to cast finished versions some day.

Everyone knows the moon is made of cheese, though!

serious comment: I really, really like the brilliance of their scales and their faces.

Ah , good! I fixed the typos and the image seems to appear correctly.
I must of done something wrong the first time. It takes awhile to get the hang of new forums!

Your dragons are really awesome. The colors and textures are so neat.

Oh my gosh, I feel so silly. I had no idea, as I looked through your gallery, that you sculpted my very favorite dragon I own. Your work is SO phenomenal, and even more gorgeous in person. Smile

Oy, more typos in my description. This time I am going to just leave them alone! Last time I edited them out, it messed up my submission.

How did you mess up the submission? IF the works were all bunched up, it likely had some code in it that the editor didn't like Sad

I don't know what I did. I submitted the Tiger dragon and it showed in my gallery and the front page as Newest art, then I edited the description and it disappeared.
Maybe I needed to re-enter it in the galleries after making changes?

.... I don't know, but I've just added galleries to it and that seemed ok. It may have just been a glitch. If it happens again, give me a buzz and we can see if it 's a bug that BogusRed BogusRed needs to sort out Smile

I hope you don't have anymore problems with this in the future. If you do, Either note me or Bogusred, or report the picture and we'll look into it for you and see what's wrong Smile

Hi reptangle. What problem did you experience when you last edited your submission?
      • May 6, 2011, 4:08:06 PM UTC
I edited the description to remove typos. The image didn't appear in the galleries I had selected after I did that. It still appeared in my gallery though.

Hmmm....That's unusual. Most likely what happened is when you initially selected the galleries they didn't save completely. Editing the description goes through a separate process from saving galleries so that shouldn't cause your entry to lose its galleries. give it another try some time and let me know if it still happens.

Ok I will try editing a description as see what happens. Thank you!
