King of the Awun-Ja

This is like, the only recently done peice that can even be considered done @_@

This, if the Awun-Ja used gendered terms, would be their king. Constructing a seperate language that uses non-gendered terms is rediculously hard, I have to add.

So, to make some things clear off the start - Awun was the snake god that warvled around the sky, one day boinked an elven maiden and sprung forth these god-born, who took the name of Awun-Ja.(Literal translation being Children of the god, Awun.)

Being that they are A. reptillian and B. god-born, I thought the idea of them not having a set sex worked well with the whole part reptillian and godborn.

This being the case - they have no word for "either" sex. And as they only have one sex (Both of which can carry a baby and deliver the "sperm" to create one, though not at the same time.) they never really gained a concept of gender.

For those not in the know, gender does not equal sex. If that t'were the case a lot of transgendered folks would be screwed.

Gender is how society says you should act because of what's in your pants. The Awun-Ja have no concept of more than one sex, so they have no concept of gender that dictates what one must do. However, like Kingy here, they have a dominant "sex".
Other than the occasional lack of boobies, you generally don't know what you're going into bed with, nor does it matter, really, when thought about.

EDIT: HOLY FUUUUUUU THAT WAS HUGE. Sorry!
