Running

The completely colored version of the Running Sketch. I did a few different things in coloring this one than I normally do in my art. I think it turned out rather well, and kind of cool looking. I'd LOVE to know what you think :)

Very nice colors. Also I love the expression on her face. She's clearly running from/to something, not just for fun. I'm a little perplexed by the white thing in the middle of the skirt, my eyes try to read it as negative space. But I'm pretty sure it's a skirt, not long flowy pants, right? Maybe if it was just slightly colored?

  Yes, if you look closely near her visible boot, the gray part is actually connected to that white space, as an under skirt. It's the only part of the dress that doesn't split, all in all the dress has four layers one of which is white, and another is only visible in one spot. It's designed like those older style layered dresses. I just went crazy with placing layers while I was drawing it. I tried putting in a background, to make the white skirt a little more easily seen, but since I'd done ALLOT of messing around, and forgot a few things, I was unable to put in a nice colored background without leaving weird white and black speckles everywhere.
