Okay, I've recently been checking out all of Zacula's fantastic artwork, and it's inspired me to post some art from my 'Brian Froud period'... lol. Now, it's really not right for an anime-prone artist like me to delve into the realm of Goth/Fantasy... but I couldn't resist. I was totally into it last year (ok, and still am!)

I never finished this; I started it last year and never did anything with it. But I sort of like the idea  ^_^

Well, we'll have to work on the telepathy thing... But you'll look goth at least! [smiley] To be goth, I think you'd have to write dark poetry, never leave your room without black lipstick on, listen to goth-rock, only go out at night, and rebel furiously against any and all government establishments. Lol!

Oh pish posh! Just because you draw anime, doesn't mean you can't draw in other styles also! This little night pixie is so cute, I LOVE it! I like his feet, his black shiney eyes, and his smile. I really like the hat also, especially the shading on the top. This is great, and I hope to see more. Wonderful job! [smiley]

P.S. There is nothing to feel guilty about for liking a particular kind of style, like goth. As long as you're not depresed, planning mass murder and meyhem, or sacrificing small animals in your back yard...you're fine! haha, I'm just kidding. [smiley]

very cute. I really like his expression. For some reason the two little mushrooms bother me. I think it's because they are just two little things that came out of nowhere. And for some reason my brain says that those two mushrooms look like boobies lol. Perhaps if there were more of them and they had variation in size or soemthing. just something to keep in mind if you plan to finish it.

Everytime I look at those mushrooms now, I crack up; you've poisoned me!! lol You're definitely right, I need to make more. I think I had intended to, but got lazy and never finished the whole darn thing [smiley] Anyway, different sizes (and shapes) would be good, haha! ^_^

I'd like to see more that's for sure. Its very nice, as i said before, the shading and light are so nicely drawn. Each time i look at it, the glowing of the pixie just amaze me. The creature is awesome too mind you!
