When I read Green Lantern: New Guardians #16 and saw Kyle in the violet crystals trying to learn the violet light of love, the cover of Jamiroquai’s album ”A  funk odyssey” came to mind, and I thought it’d be interesting to make a play on that funky head piece he has with it :D
