The colors are looking kind of muddy to me because of all the pencil. Try doing a sketch first in pencil and the shading near the end and when you're done with that instead of leaving it pencil go over it with ink that should help with the muddy looking colors. Then when you're done with the ink go over it again with an eraser to get rid of the pencil underneath to prevent smuges.

Ah so you have indicated that you would like this piece to be Roasted, eh? Well, here goes...
Whenever you do a semetrical design such as this, you need to make sure it's aligned right or else it will look weird. Notice how the sword blade in the lower left is out much further than the blade on the other side? It's probably hard to see since you are the artist and you've been spending so many hours staring at it. Try holding it up to a mirror. Sometimes seeing your own artwork in a different way will help you see it's errors. Try this every once in a while as you are drawing.

What I suggest you do when you start a drawing is rough it out and handle all porportional issues first before doing any detail. It should take maybe 5 minutes to do, then you can go in and do detail once everything is strait and aligned correctly.

I think the shading in it isn't too bad. It looks like that's where you spent most of your time drawing. The skull is looking a little flat. The shadows don't accuratly portray the form of a skull. If you are going to do a drawing of a skull, use a skull for reference instead of another drawing or flat piece of art. But the skull is drawn much better than the swords though. The handles of the swords look the most flat. It seems like maybe you weren't as interested in drawing the handles so you kind of drew it quickly?

    Anyway hope that helps.
