Sleipnir

[Considering this to be "fanart" for Norse mythology, if nothing else.]

Another piece I've been working for a while. Reference was used, in several places, from several sources. Because reasons. No, but really, I haven't drawn or attempted horse anatomy in years, and for me to simply jump the gun with an eight-legged horse off the get-go instead of easing in with the usual four-legged ones...

Yeah, I might've tripped and fallen on my face a few times and contracted a bit of brain damage to do this piece. There were times when I simply wanted to stop working and put it aside for eternity, collecting dust. But I told myself not to, to keep trying, and even though there are anatomy errors screaming in my face that are completely obvious (to me, I don't know about any of you), I am posting it because dammit. I'm actually kinda proud of this one.

So, anyway! Sleipnir, the eight-legged steed from Norse mythology, son of Loki, the God of Mischief and Lies. Seeing several pieces floating around the Internet, it's now stuck in my head that Sleipnir's a dark grey-colored horse. Enjoy.
