I love this man... he is so hot... :innocent: I have been working on this for the past 4 hours now and I am soooo very happy with how he turned out. Granted, my fingers are all crippled and completely black, but he is sooo worth it. man he is hot.
This pose may look familiar. It was from the January 2004 issue of GQ magazine. After much drooling and contemplating, I decided to try my hand at drawing him. And I am happy I did. I am so proud of how he came out. I hope you guys like it. This was done with a .7 mechanical pencil and a whooole lot of patience (and erasing  ). Enjoy everyone (especially the ladies. ;) ) Did I mention he's hot? :ponders: Okay... I'm off to wash my hands now. Love ya all. ^_^
Oh, wow... Ack it's my brother!! (He's the spittin' image of Mr. Bloom, unfortunately for me ) lol You got Orli just right, and I really love the softness of your shading. I know how hard you have to rub the uh, paper, to get smoothness like that. Great work! ^_^
Wow... Really? That is such an amazing compliment. That seriously is like the greatest compliment I have ever received and let me tell you why. I am absolutely in love with realism. I am working so hard every day to improve my skills to become great at it. I would seriously to be able to do photorealism where it looks so crisp and perfect that it actually DOES look like a photo. So I was so taken aback when you said that. Thank you so so much. You have really made my day. *hugs*
wow... OMG that is just Amazing!!!!!!!!! Im crazed up from the Orlando Bloom-ness!!!!!!! I love this man soooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!! i even have his autograph my daddy was lucky enough to meet him in LA. wow it sure does look like him im impressed. Very well done to you! my lady =D
Why thank you so much sweetheart. You really have his autograph? You are so lucky. I want to lick his face. I absolutely am in love with Orlando Bloom as pretty much any other girl out there does. And this one that I did of him, I simply had to do those droopy tired eyes of his. And this one definitely shows that off. It is such a sexy look for him. I appreciate all of your wonderful compliments on this. I worked really hard on him (Heehee) and I am glad that it is getting some love. Thanks again. *hugs*
awe its no problem! it really is fantastic!!! i really love it a lot!! you really did work hard on him XD (i get it heehee) lol i wouldnt mind licking his face either hahaha! anyway, well done again^^ its great to have met another Orlando Bloom lover =D
Oh sweetie... the reason people fave my pics is because they are frightened of me and what I'll do to them if they don't. Mwahaha! Just kidding. I am a big dork Chas. And people seem to like that about me. Not to mention I always try to give back to people what they give to me. I try my hardest to review as much art as I can. That is what helps me make alot of friends. I feel so loved. ^_^ I miss you Chas. But I am so grateful for all of your praise. Thank you so so much. And did you show your daughter this one yet? I am curious to know what she thinks of it. Much love. ^_^
@_@ I've no clue who this is, but if I were a female, I think I could find reason to like him as much as you do XD. Realism would be one of tougher fortes to accomplish, I think you have a knack for doing it. It helps too, when you have a PICTURE of the person instead of having to use a mirror or something. So I think you did a fantastic job with making him who he is with pencil and paper. Great work as always Kristy
I am going to pretend I didn't just read that. I think you will remember who he is after I tell you... Chris... this is Orlando Bloom. I am going to marry this man. He just doesn't know it yet. You may know him from playing Legolas on the Lord of the Rings movies and from playing Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean. Ah... see? Now you know him huh? That hair was the most time consuming part of the drawing. But I am happy with how he turned out. Thank you so very much for the kind comments again. I feel spoiled.
Oh my gosh hun... you have no idea how bad my hands hurt from drawing this. 4 friggen hours non-stop. 4 hours I tell ya! And my hands were so very black from the pencil. >_< Ah well. I think it turned out pretty dang good if I do say so myself. The hardest parts were the shading on his nose, his trademark smile/smirk (there was alot of erasing and re-doing that one), and his hair. I drew every single strand of hair with my mechanical pencil and then went over it with my eraser to give it that highlighted effect. That was a pain. I didn't know I had that much patience in me. I am working on one for my grandmother right now. She is ill with the beginnings of Alzheimer's and I wanted to give her something before her mind is completely gone. it will probably be up later today. Well, if I can ever figure out how to draw a tree anyway. >_< All my love and thanks again. You always put a smile on my face with your reviews. <----- See?
lol! sorry to hear about your grandma!! Mine is in the hospital at the moment as well!! But I'm sure she'll love your pic, and trees aren't that hard just look at a pic of one or look at one outside if you need too. They're easy, just boring and time-consuming.
HOLY SHIT! What is going on with you girl!!! Your art talent has been sky rocketing! I ...wow! I have no idea what to say...I am in shock....wow...you have totally went up a notch in your art ability! holy ...wow...ok this is totally going in my favs! nice job!
heehee. You likes? Do you have any idea how much fun I had drawing him? ALOT! Except I got mad at his nose and his mouth. I just couldn't get them right at first. I am so glad you really can see (not to mention appreciate) how much work I put into him. (heheh... that sounded dirty) I was going to do Hayden Christiansen, but I couldn't get his face shape right. So I gave up on him for the time being. I think I am going to try to draw Elijah Wood next. Well, maybe. I think drawing his eyes will be challenging. I'll see what I can do. But anyway... it is our Orly, Mal! And I am sooo happy with how he turned out. His hair is my most favorite part. But it was so time consuming. I drew every single little strand and then lightened some of it with my eraser for the highlights. I have to fix that little bit of stubble on his chin. I have to fill out that one part on the right (our right) because it looks a bit off. But if that is the only thing that I can dismiss in this picture, ten I am doing good. I always end up with one thing or another being seriously out of whack with my pictures. Anyway, I miss you hun and I hope to talk to you later. I have much things to tell you. I hope your Thanksgiving was great. I love you Mallory! Mwah mwah mwah!
OMG YES ORLI IS MA DREAM MAN!! LoL, We I found my dream man, so not as much as before. I knew from far away...thats Orlando *points* It looks sooo much like him. Be blessed that you do realistic art. I can't, and I never will...hehehe. Yes Anime Lady...he is super hot.
Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments hun. I am so glad that you like him. And oh my god, I want to have his babies. He is sooo fine. I was so proud of how he turned out. This is the best I have done as far as shading goes I think. And I am glad that I made him recognizable. All my love to you. mwah, mwah, mwah!
*screams* OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!*faints* You too? I`ve loved this man ever since "The Lord Of The Rings" came out!!!OMG! He .....looks....hot!!!!!! God I love you Kristy! God bless you!!!*glomps* Oh the piccy is perfect! And there I thought I knew how much you can do....Now I see that there`s no limit to your talent!!!!!You keep surprising me !!!!! Oh...You are so amazing, did you know that? Oh.the piccy is awesome! The shading and the SMILE!.....Oh I just.... I love you!!!!!Thank you!!!! Definetily.
Awww, shucks. Thank you so much. You can imagine how much fun I had drawing him. God he's hot. I want to have his babies. *drools* That smile was soooo hard for me to get right. It took me quite a few tries before I got it. The worst part was the hair. That was so time consuming. But it turned out great so every second was worth it. I am glad I could put a smile on your face. I am thinking about drawing Elijah Wood next. He's another one that makes me drool. Thank you so much for your never-ending support and love my dear. All my love to you. MWWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Wow sweetie he's looking great! You've outdone youself! I don't think I'd do it that good. Everything looks great is all I can say, especially I love the hair. It looks like you put alot of work into this one. I'm not crazy about him, but you did a great job.
Wow! Thank you so much Maria. In all actuality, I was kicking myself in the butt for a screw up on my last picture and I wanted to do something above and beyond that. And what better way to do that than to draw Orlando Bloom. *sigh, swoon* he is so gorgeous. This one took me about 4 total drawing and shading hours. I put alot of effort into this and I am so glad that it paid off. This is actually one of the first that I've done that is virtually flawless. Thank god! I am so glad that everyone can see how hard I worked on it. That makes me feel so good to know that people are noticing. Thanks so much again. All my love to you. Mwah! Mwah! Mwah!
It shows when you draw someone or something you love doesn't it? That way we give our all to the pic. You are really becoming a virtuoso my dear and I am happy for you. Love ya! ^_^
I spent about 4 hours non-stop on this yesterday. You should have seen my hands when I was done. They were black from the pencil. >_< But it was well worth it I think. Man I love him. I think I am going to do one of Elijah Wood next. That would be cool. Anywhoo, thanks again for the wonderful compliments hun. All my love. ^_^
omg omg omg! I love him so much. I must say he's one of (if not the most) hottest men in the world! And you drew him perfectly...interesting I can't stop staring at it.Great job!
Oh god, I KNOW!!! So it is only natural that I had to draw him. I am going to marry him one day. He doesn't know it yet, but he will. I am so glad that I made him recognizable. I was scared drawing him at first because I didn't know if I'd be able to get him just right. But I must say that I am happy with how he looks. Damn he's hot. Thanks again for the wonderful compliments. All my love. ^_^
I'm super glad you did decide to draw him because well he's hot of course! (established many many times but never enough) when I first saw the thumbnail to this I was all "OH MY GOD!!" *Click click click click*
yes... Orly has that effect on alot of women. He makes us want to click our mouses when we see him. What? I'm talking about the computer thing. Dirty minded people. heheh. I am glad that I can leave so many people (girls) with warm fuzzy feelings inside from looking at him. Yay! Woot! I am so happy that you like my humble little drawing. All my love to you. Mwah! ^_^
Woot! Thank you thank you thank you. I hoped I would get him looking right. Or at least a little recognizable. His hair and his eyes are my favorite parts of this pic. That hair was a pain to do though. >_< I'm so glad you like it though. He is totally droolable. Thanks again. Much love. ^_^
*punches chest* Sorry, had to get my heart going again! He is indeed VERY droolsome in your pic; scrumptious work Kristina, I love the shading! This is a definite !
Thanks so much love. ^_^ I am so in love with Orlando Bloom and I thought I would immortalize my love for him by drawing him. I think I should do away with that shading on his forehead though. I don't really like it. >_< We'll see. Knowing me, I would probably completely ruin the picture. Thanks so much hun. All my love to you. mwah! ^_^
Thank you so much hun. The only thing I really had trouble with was shading his nose. That damn thing drove me crazy! Crazy I tell you! I am glad you like him though. He is the object of my obsession. I want to have his make-believe babies. he is so yummy. Thanks again. Much love. ^_^
