A fairy painting for a friend. Acrylics, painted with fingertips and toothpicks.

Bit of an older piece, but I'm still pleased with it. :)

This is really nice, I love the little orbs of light, and those wings are gorgeous. The serene look on the fairy's face is comforting to look at.

I've never heard of such a technique of painting - it's done so well I couldn't have even guessed that it was done with such an unusual medium! Is it time-consuming?

  It wasn't something I was doing to limit myself or anything actually - the fingertips and toothpicks - at the time I made this I had kind of a thing about wanting Maximum Motor Control and was kind of clumsy with the swishyness and length of brushes. :p
