Song of the night- Sketch

Doing a “Draw it again” meme of an old picture I never seem to finish even though I’ve tried redrawing it several times, for an art challenge on Facebook. Hopefully this time it will make to to the finishing stages :)

I’ve made a few changes to the original design, but kept the over all elements the same. Picture is of my two OCs, Alex and Athena in a loving embrace :)

  I'd love to ^^ I just need to work up the nerve to do arts. I'm having this wave effect with art inspiration lately. I'm not sure why. I think I'm too distracted by Tumblr and Youtube >.< Need to allocate more time to actual art XD

  Thank you TuT In the last few years I've been working hard on getting more relaxed poses and I think I'm there now This pose has changed a bit over the years as I got better at form. I hope I can give this picture the final form it deserves <3

  Thank you The image I'm taking it from was always a pose and layout I really loved, but never seemed to finish. I hope I manage it this time. I changed it a little so there wasn't any kissing, cause it made it too romantic- I felt that it was a stronger image with them focusing on the embrace instead.
  
  Still got to decide what to do with Athena's wings though. Her new power set is based on music, so I'm not sure how to visualize that, unless her aria has an inherent glow. I'll see how I feel when I colour it

  I do love what's left implied about the image as much as I do what's in it. It's a gorgeous piece. I can't wait to see how you colour it.

  Thank you TuT I hope I can drum up the inspiration to finish it soon TuT I've been very funny with my inspiration to draw lately. I think I'm on Youtube and Tumblr too much >.> *cries*
