When I'm sketching for fun, rather than on a long-term project, I often like to tile all the bits and pieces up on one page for more efficient storage. Here's a bunch of stuff from the late part of last year and the early part of this one - hopefully y'all can enjoy some of 'em.

it looks nice as a whole. i sometimes try to do the same, but when the page starts looking good i am afraid to make a mistake and am no longer able to sketch freely.

i like your shading style, it looks dynamic but not rough. what is it in the lower middle? it looks like two people with wing like coats.

the face of a singer is best i think, it is symmetric with an interesting smirk.

One of the advantages of a page full of Stuff, is that is you trip up on a couple of 'em, the good bits still help ballance out the over-all effect. Smile

Thanks for the compliment. ^_^ Mm... Two people with wing-like coats is a close enough explanation. I was thinking more of the wings than the coats, but they were meant to be wings that could smoothly blanket somebody, so form over function I guess?

I'm glad you think he turned out well. Smile Singer-lad is actually a poet-lad, but I guess performance looks quite similar - just rhythm emphasized over tune if you could actually hear him.
