I was watching the ep this quote came from yesterday in the dim, rainy afternoon and suddenly felt like drawing. :)
Didn't do so hot on Tara, even though I painted over my initial effort to re-draw her, but I'm pleased with how Willow came out.
If anybody has tips - on redrawing faces from different angles from their references, on a better way of covering up errors in permanent media, on handwriting neater captions into artwork, or just somethign you notice in general - please feel welcome to chime in.
I think I'll also be using this to fill the Love prompt for the theme challenge...

I have trouble with faces. As you mentioned, it's difficult to try and draw a face at a different angle from your reference material. I don't know a solution other than to collect as many reference photos as possible and hope one is close enough.
And that makes sense. Especially in cases where there is a lot of reference available, as in recurring TV show characters. Although it can be pretty time-consuming and also there are some cases where there just isn't enough to work with and there's an active request or commission, so I should also look into alternative methods...
