Slytherin choker

Inktober 11

concept: Yule Ball choker for a Slytherin girl
(I actually have bought the pendant, some wide black silk ribbon, and felt I could maybe sew between layers of ribbon to make it a little stiffer and help it take the weight... that leaves some clay-and-spraypaint silver snake-heads, a couple fasteners, and the actual making of the thing to go. Think I can make it work?)

This is a nice little sketch, very snakey for the snake house Smile It sounds like a do-able project, best of luck! Also, mind if I ask where you bought it? it's a very nice little choker.

...The pendant was from Hobby Lobby, actually? Had a gift-card from a relative for Christmas. Think it's this one - http://www.hobbylobby.com/Beads-Jewelry/Charms-Pendants/Pendants/Antique-Gold-Ornate-Pendant-with-Green-Stone/p/11345 - although in person the center bit is a lot paler and the little studs on the edges seem more dark... Black silk ribbon from the craft section of the walmart down the street, and I've had a big box of Polymer clay from I can't remember where or when lying around that's still in usable shape and silver spraypaint from Michael's from my last cosplay supplies run when I was doing jewelry for MLP's Princess Luna and a sea-coast elf for a masquerade.

Nice, I'm not all too good with crafts and stuff, except some sculpture with clay, so I find it neat when people put stuff together like this. The most crafts stuff I do is buy a pendant and put it on a chain, heh.

I'll be sure to post a picture of the final product once I've gotten my ducks in a row. Smile

I'll look forward to it, it could work out really well from the sounds of it.
