Duck Park

An impressionistic acrylic painting of the pond at the park near our public library - we always called it "The Duck Park" growing up. :)

It's a little smaller resolution than I originally meant it to be, because of issues converting it from a cell phone photo, but I figure I can still post it and get a higher-rez version for myself later?

Bonus pink magnolia frame. ;)

Oooh- super pretty. I love water in paint. IT's a challenge to do but looks so good when done ^^ The flowers make a beautiful frame Smile

Wow, this is really pretty, you're good with acrylics! I would need a lot of practice with the medium before I could make something this nice. It's wonderful that you live near such a pretty place~

Thanks! ^_^ I've had some practice, but I think also I'm cross-applying some stuff from watercolor and digital? Anywho! The impressionistic look was kind of an experiment and I'm really glad it came out well. <3

Gorgeous painting. I never been very good with the wet mediums, but I love the colors and how you handled the water.

      *grins* Thank you!
I'm glad the water came out - think that was the hardest bit for me.
