FanArt: Sailor Moon

Despite being sick, I can’t escape the siren song of my new paper and colors.

But I am way messier than usual cause I keep ignoring all the rules xD

Like working from light to dark, patiently waiting for something to dry… so far we got here printed lines, Windsor & newton watercolors, Koh-I-Noor colored pencils, Iridescent medium and acrylics on canson moulin du roy watercolor paper (300g/m²)

messy work is messy.

Woah neat. How did you create the texture effects on the right side of the background? Salt?

  yes, exactly. Salt makes really nice textures with watercolors. I use it in almost every watercolor piece I do

It might be slightly messy, but this is also beautiful. The colors and texture of the background are wonderful, it reminds me of sakura trees against the moon.
