Colin Farrell in pencil

Oh- its definetly not my best work!! XD Pencil just looks impressive. As for photography, its cause hes hanging out in the bottom 1/3 of the page. That's why it looks right. and there wouldn't be half of this detail without a referance, but I'm learning for the next pic ^^ The scanner has taken alot of the shading out though- you can't see the light stuff around his hand and face....

The shading isn't too hard- the biggest thing is reckonising what should be black and what should be white, and then shadeeverything in between to compliment it (Ok- I admit it. It sounds harder if I explain it ^^; ) I remember that Orolando pic too- he's another droopy eyed wonder. WHAT IS IT WITH THE DROOPY LOOK?! *stabbys the droopyness* Its sooooo hard to replicate!!!

Well, he might of been a fighter but he still came out damn good I think.

Not a fighter... except in Alexander (the movie) I think... He usually plays characters of non good stature- played Bullseye in Daredevil.. I don't consider that fighter though. Athletic maybe... *shrug*

I didn't know either till I looked for pics on him... He looks really different bald... He makes a freaky Bullseye though!! He was well cast. Too bad the movie was a pushover- like This is Spiderman- with BEN AFLICK playing DAREDEVIL!!! The girls go oooooh but everyone groans at the corney scenes that are totally Get over it material ^^;

Yeah, I am glad that I am not the only one that didn't realize that it was him ^^;;

XD You would not BELIEVE what people can miss if they aren't told The idea is to suck the veiwer into the world, and mak them believe that these people really are these characters. It's like Clark Kent taking off the glasses and becoming Superman. *noone (clears throat)* reckonises him A good actor should be like this

Yeah... I've gotta work on the photorealism side of it... My pencils always come out close, but there is always dead give aways when it's close up. I donno- I kinda like the roughness of the 9B pencils Its textured, and feels generally good to me Alot of people mix thier pencils with harder ones, but I don't. Just watch you don't smudge it is my moto ^^ That look- its hard to describe... I like to think of it as more contemplative, interested looking. He was this close to being tired thouhg!! *motions with fingers*

*hides* not the master!! You don't watch who I watch at Deviantart. I am FAR from realistic. You don't suck either- you have your style and it suits you.

Colin himself? I unfortunatley can't sell HIM XD I do draw commissions, but I don't like to sell origanal art usually- I put a peice of myself into every picture. Unless I don't put effort in, I tent to not to want my pencils to wander too far.

$20 for a full detailed character drawing though- I'm good for it I wont do full scenes though- I barely have time for my own art and people approaching me in person ^^; I need to lose some of that life I have...
