This was done with a black charcoal pencil. I used my Magus cape as my subject. The drawing was for John Clapp's Art 112A class (Beginning Illustration). I did pretty well on it. All I had to do was draw the shadow shapes and hit the core shadows and cast shadows because, don't forget now, "shadows are your friend" as John always likes to say. This piece was in my portfolio for the portfolio review. What do you think of it?

Pink PenAug 19, 2004 10:34 pmVery strange. Is it cloth? Wings, perhaps? Very strange indeed. Must ponder on it. *walks away while rubbing chin ponderously, thinking ponderous thoughts about the very strange picture that has kept her ponderation* O_o... I like to ponder.... about... things |

Pink PenAug 19, 2004 10:35 pmOOOOOOOOH! Now I know what they are. Drapes! Yeah? Am I right? Jeez, I'm such a fool. All I had to do is look at the title. Ignore me, I haven't taken my meds yet... |
