Back in the days I was BOTHERED doing CGI. It takes so looong, and only 2/10 pics come out ok for it!! *cries* I really like this one though- Majin Vege has MAJOR attitude!!! [emoticon]

Mmmmmm, majin vegeta goodness! That's cool. I understand what you mean about CGing. Nowadays if I CG something I just put basic flat color. It just doesn't work well, it takes too long. I like to use watercolor and then use photoshop just to make small alterations. This turned out pretty good. The upper arms are a little short though. He has a lot of attitude, I like it >=}

LOL! I know- I was so busy getting the muscles right in this that sometimes I miss tiny details like that!! You never notice them till it's inked though ^^;

Don't worry, EVERYONE does that.... untill they learn a better method. I really like to draw that way where I just start drawing in one small area and go strait to detail. But, there are other methods that just produce better results. Sometime during the summer I'll write a tutorial about the two methods. If you can, try just making a simple light sketch that shows the basic porportions of your character before getting into details. it might look something like an advanced stick figure. double check the porportions before going any further. Then get into the muscles and facial features after all the porportions are set. I understand how hard it is to change your method because it feels uncomfortable and strange at first, but you'll benifit from it in the long run and you'll also be able to draw much much much faster. You'll be cranking out the drawings like an animator.
