Calendar Gurlz - May

And here is Miss May. I think she turned out better than I expected her to. ^^ Her lips seem to be a little on the dark side. Perhaps I will go back and highlight those a bit later on tonight. Anywhoo guys, we are about half-way through my calendar. I hope everyone is enjoying it so far. Much love to you all.

Yay for May!! I'm so delighted that you drew this for the month of my birth (don'cha hate when calendars are full of pretty pictures EXCEPT for the one on your own b-day month?). I see you used that pretty May emerald green color throughout the drawing. I love it!

I think her lips are purty! Like she bought some lipstick to match her eyes!! I'm a bit behind because my babies are sick so now I'm off to June Love ya!

  Oh... your poor babies. I hope they get better really soon. But with a wonderful mommy like you taking care of them, I know they will be 100% in no time. Thank you for the kind words about her lips. That is the only part that didn't come out right when I scanned it. On the original, the color is more pink like lips should be, but here they are more of a purple color making her look like she is a bit oxygen deprived. Okay... go take care of those babies hun. All my love to you. ^_^

  The boys are doing better although they haven't reached their typical full demonic selves yet. I can't believe how much I would give for them to be little monsters when I complain about the noise they constantly make when they are well

  Yes... finally the flowers. Don't worry... you aren't the only one to ask about the flowers. You know how the saying goes though... April showers bring May flowers. Or something along those lines. But this is why I couldn't put the flowers in April. Because I needed them for May. See? See? I am so happy you love my calendar sweetheart. That really means alot to me. All my love.

  What exactly is a Tablet anyway? I heard someone else talking about one before as well, but I am not sure what it is. Is it for digital art? I am so terrible at digital art. >_< I will just stick to the traditional methods. I can't wait to see what you have done for Arkillian's drawing. I am waiting anxiously. You will share it with all of us won't you? I hope so. I miss you my darling. Mwah mwah mwah!

  Yes, it's for digital art. It's a device that allows you to use a drawing pen on a computerized pad. It gives far more control than a mouse does, naturally.
  
  Of course I will share it, my love. I want to get the basic idea worked out first, and then I'll be able to start posting process drawings.
  
  I miss you too. Of course, if you wanted, I could always post those cards I finished...

  Silly Mr. Butmer... OF COURSE I want to see the cards. Speaking of which, how did Jon like them? I bet he was thrilled. You are so talented darling. I am so busy getting all of this art stuff done. I have to finish my calendar as well as do a couple of requests and then I have to start on the book illustrations as soon as I get all of the odds and ends worked out with it.
