Funky Link

Another quick drawing. I've been trying to crank out as many drawings as possible lately. I know there are many mistakes in this one. I'm unhappy with the way the face turned out. I rushed it too much. Had I only stopped and squinted, I could have fixed it before inking. The knees need work too but I'm moving on to the next piece. I was originally going to water color this one but then felt too lazy to bring out my paints. oh well. The pose at least turned out really well. I love the rhythms in it.

Like I said on your other drawing, you really have a different idea of who Link is... I guess it's unavoidable, but I always imagined as being... I don't know... something else. I'd never put him in that kind of situation unless I was making fun of it, but hey, I can see why you'd have a different perception of him.

I really enjoy the pose, very nicely done. The long hair is a nice touch as well. I also like the strong outline you've given him. ^^

As I said on deviantart...very expressive and dynamic. There's something intriguing about your Link images. I'll have to find words to describe it.

Maybe it's rhythm. That's mostly what I'm going for. It's what I've been spending a lot of my time studying. I'm trying my best to learn from my teacher Sheldon and some of the techniques and methods I use are much like his works. I wish I could show you his watercolor paintings.
