I painted this a little bit ago. It took me about an hour or something. Sorry about the glare, I should have used that matte stuff in my paint. ah well, now I know.

Anyway, you might have guessed, this is Harry Potter, the Boy who Lived, the Chosen One, and so on. I figured (somehow, I'm not even sure how anymore) but he's gotta be about my age (if the books described true events) so I thought I'd like to see Haryy about my age and the scars are from the last fight with Voldemort. If J.K. Rowling pulls a Quentin Tarintino or Rob Zombie and kills him and has Voldemort win I'll crap my pants. So I figured he kills Voldemort but not without sustaining some life-long scars, muahaha!! I like them, I have them (so does Vegeta- whee!!) so I like Inu yasha and Harry Pothead to have them too even though they probably don't but my imagination dictactes that they do so here you go: this painting of Harry looking kinda evil if I must say so. I really like it. hope you guys do!

I know he doesn't have glasses. i would have screwed up sooo bad if I tried.. trust me it's better this way. besides he still has the lightening scar on hs forehead. ;D

See, that's a hard one- I reckon Harry is gonna go out with a bang, Snape will be good, and cleared etc... Harry can't stay- he has one of those candle legacys- you burn bright for a short period of time. Mind you- I have characters of his calibre and history, and I'm making mine survive... They don't have to beat the ultimate wizard or baddy thouhg. You've got to remember that Harry and Voldemort are linked now. In more ways than one I'm picking- HArry is gonna pick up a few more tricks in his last book. I'm dying to see what he does now he's no longer in hogwarts....

oh I didn;t know he left. I still haven't finished the 6th one but I'm supposed to today.

aww! It was soo sad! But honestly after what I read, I don't think Harry is gonna be the one to bite it. He might end up like Frodo all angst ridden afterwards, but I really think he'll be fine. I think it's just everything that leads up to the end is messing him up.

I have to say, i've never been a fan of Harry, i dunno why i tried to read the forst book and couldn't, i liked the movies but nothing more. I dunno... But the art though, i see your style in it Kichi, its dark and sombre. I guess its a side of Harry i've never seen, maybe you'll make a fan out of me, who knows!!! I love the way you painted the light, its incredible, with the darkness of the painting, its as if you wanted to show the duality of him, maybe his voldemort side. Great shadow too under his arm on his tummy, my eyes are drawn to this part! (oh by the way, which drawing of Inuyasha you said you did...there a few so i'm not sure which one your talking about) [emoticon]

fantastic!! i love your subtle use of shadowing on the right side, and the slightly demented face. the eye texture is perfect!

Thanks a lot! I really love this painting- If I was JK Rowling I would want Harry to look like this when he's about my age (26 yesterday)
