Color Comp - Split Complement

For John's Art 113A class we had to do 16 color comps of our rendering (search for "Backfire" to see the black and white rendering). He gave us a list of instructions. There was a certain way we had to do them. I included the details of the comps to show just how loose my brushstrokes were. It's fun to see how loose it is.

Ok so this is Split complement. This was my fourth favorite of the 16

    Ooo, I think I like this one the best (out of the ones you have posted Smile ) Although this entire series that you've done is very cool. I love to see how much you can learn through such exercises; it gets me excited about majoring in art!

      yeah being an art major has its benefits. it is a lot of fun and you learn a lot but it's TONS of work. you'll lose a lot of sleep. heheh

        Ah, great. On top of that I'm going to be preparing for the MCATs for med. school...I better get my sleep in these next couple of days before I start, or I may never see the backs of my eyelids again. O.O

            Oh, I know... I don't if its really where I'm going to end up, but it's a hope. Grog... I have to take organic chemistry!!! Bleg!!!
