Ahh, lovely scene! I like the way it feels sensual, but still has a rather playful atmosphere to it.
One thing, I feel like Alex's pose seems to fit more the feminine role. Just the way he's sitting atop the rail...But you've done a nice job, making it seem as though Alex is bringing her to him. Hmm, maybe I'm making something of nothing. Anyway, I'm anxious to see this finished! *readies the favorite button*

Woaaaah- hold up the gender bending- the femanine role? How? I see Alex as being in the more dominating role here looming over her, and they couldn't swap- definetly not if Athena wears a dress. It's definetly a guy place to be. Unless you have a different reason for thinking this?

I'm anxious to see the final product too- normally I see it in my head as I'm drawing it, but sometimes I can't see it finished in my head, and can only draw the feeling- like this one. It's gonna be a surprise for me too. Digetal or not? I'm thinking both at the moment... (Ponders idea...)

*giggles* Perhaps Athena is the more dominant one in the relationship. [emoticon] At least in this picture anyway. [emoticon] Well you always color your digital pics so beautifully, so perhaps you should do the same for this. I like the playfully romantic scenario. *sigh* I love love. [emoticon]

Hmmm- I guess Athena IS the most dominant- in a boldness sence!! See, Alex is pushy, but Athena just wants to put up barriers cause till Alex came along, she was comfortable with being unappealing to men, and she can't handle Alex's sudden affection to her. Athena knows what she wants though, and in that sence she is more dominant!! Alex it the driver of the car, whilst Athena is the handbrake. Err- when I say driver, Alex is one of those crazy drivers that occasionally freak the heck out of passengers by driving off cliffs and stuff. XD

I donno about digetal- see, I'm still learning it, and this doesn't feel like a digetal type pic- but then again....

err.. it was pretty much just randomness. For the most part I played with squiggly lines - for the darker sections, I outlined the area I wanted dark, filled it in lightly, and then erased the white lines out. Pretend you have palsy. [emoticon] That helps with the shaky lines.

Also - marble looks best if the marbling is on a diagonal, and it's almost always really glossy when cut in shapes like pillars.

Makes sence [emoticon] I'll give that a go. I do a similar thing for wood- random squiggly lines ina pattern with the odd knot. Wood is easy (cheep wood anyways...)

*grin* I agree. Wood IS easy. So is marble, for the most part. It just takes a little more time, because the lines are much more varied. (soft to hard)
