Cathedral - Perspective Final

John had us do the St. Joseph's Cathedral as our perspective final in Art 113A. It turned out pretty good. It's a little messy but the structure and perspective are clearly there. I skrewed up in some places but I'm happy with it.

wow.It seems very accurate, besides one tower.... but that could be just my problem.
I like it anyway.Always nice to see beautiful drawingsSmile
btw.. how long did it take?I'm just curious, never tried something like that on my own..

unfortunately I got kind of a fish eye effect when I photographed the drawing so sorry about that part. I probably spent 2-3 hours on this.

My final in my Technical Rendering class was to draw a chair. It was no cathedral but we had to use strict measurements. We found out later another class had to draw a locomotive for their final. I was grateful for the chair! I certainly learned a lot about perspective. I've always wanted to make a study of buildings and other structures. This is well done.

Woah a locomotive? That sounds like fun. Lot's of circles in perspective.
