Well here's where I am so far. The details are taking a lot more time than I thought and I just don't seem to be able to find the time to work on it as I want to.
Anyways I decided to put my last 3 WIP pics together and delete the others.
I have a question for minimaid if she's reading this. What color is his hair?

PookyWookyTotal Posts: 522May 5, 2006 1:08 pmI think it's better to take a lot of time on details 'speically when it come to armour. It took me three months to make the ugly picture of two knights. Oh man. Besides that, he is coming a long very very well. Keep up the great work. --- "‡«»º][Dersonally Chosenº«»‡" |

Dennis (Reply)Total Posts: 984May 7, 2006 8:39 pmNow there's a wonderful idea but unfortunately i'm one of those people who just can't start a new drawing until the current one is done. Oh well. --- |

MinimaidTotal Posts: 1890May 5, 2006 6:45 pmThey have fairly dark hair. Usually black, brown, or a reddish-auburn colour. Dark because they mostly spend their lives underground, and so don't get sun bleached enough for the lighter streaks. --- |

Dennis (Reply)Total Posts: 984May 5, 2006 8:37 pmThanks Robin, for your infinite patience. I am kinda going overboard with the details on this but I think it'll be worth it. --- |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1890May 5, 2006 10:03 pmUnfortunately, Eric's not working on this game anymore... He and the guy he was working on it with sort of... fell out of touch, shall we say. I thought I would still work on developing the world, nonetheless. If nothing else, it would make for a swell D&D campaign... --- |

Dennis (Reply)Total Posts: 984May 7, 2006 8:42 pmOh what a bummer. I guess I just took too long. I sincerely apologize for the long wait. I'll try to make it up by putting as much details as I possibly can. --- |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1890May 7, 2006 9:57 pmNay, you did not, ducky. DOn't fret over it. It was an awkward family affair, and they just... well, they aren't really friends anymore, so the game isn't to be. That's ok. I'm still making the world, slowly but surely. I'll still be able to use Gaer'yt, so no worries, righto? --- |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1890May 10, 2006 4:35 pmLike I said, though - don't tire yourself out, ok? The kids need their daddy to be awake and alert for when they find that nefarious pencil! --- |

WildeKardeTotal Posts: 187May 5, 2006 8:02 pmMinimaid, I've seen this on his Art table. The scans don't do it justice. (niether does the dust collecting on his art table...shhh did I just say that. Sorry Den!) I often prefer sketchs to finished work, makes you wonder where it is all going. --- Procrastinate Later! words to live by. |

PerplexityTotal Posts: 172May 6, 2006 8:10 amI really like seeing the evolution of this picture - the little subtle changes and tweaks made here and there. Thank you for putting the three versions up! It's coming along beautifully. --- |

Dennis (Reply)Total Posts: 984May 7, 2006 8:38 pmThank you, but I must confess that those little tweaks are the result of my indecisiveness and constant design corrections. --- |

Dennis (Reply)Total Posts: 984May 7, 2006 8:34 pmI wouldn't put too much thought into it. I find that my patience is tested more than not these days when it comes to my details. I seem to be becoming very impatient as I get older. --- |

Dollmaker (Reply)Total Posts: 2455May 8, 2006 6:38 amI certainly hope that's not the case for everyone, because I'm pretty impatient as it is! Eek! --- |
