It's finished too

Yeah- I had to change between about 3 referances to get his automail right... or near right. Then I found a scene in the manga that had it all when I re-read it ^^; Aiiie... Yeah- I love that spear of his MUCH more than his stabby knife thing. That thing is only cool when he makes it. And... yeah ^^

lol, yeah. I took a crack at ed-o one time... didn't turn out. automail blew. This is a very good piece. I also think the spear is his coolest weapon. Much more practical and won't put alot of stress on his arm instead of it being busted when he forms the weird sword thing.

Automail isn't too hard if you have a referance and have an easy angle- the biggest problem is the 3D look which comes from giving the metal thickness and curves. ^^

I hear that.. oh yeah, sumthin I missed. His head... It looks kinda 'big'.... Was it meant to be like that?

It's not too bad in the large size either, which is why I didn't bother correcting it in the colour version. It's too much of a pain shrinking things and dealing with lining stuff up again. It just proves I'm not a professional yet :shrug:

it's whatever you make of it. It all depends on how anal the critics are. I'm not particularly a harsh judge, but I will point out a flaw if it helps in any way.

Well, if a voice actor is going to crit my work, I hope he doesn't do it when I give it to him Besides, I wasn't really looking for advanced crit on this one. Usually I do, but I see all the mistakes in this one and can't correct them. The file is done and sent. I figure if a slightly too big head bugs him then he wasn't really worth giving the card to in the first place :p

ya know... now that I look at it.... he's legs and arse are looking kinda outta proportion. I think maybe if you tacked on more mass to the lower half, it might balance out the 'big' head.

As I said- I didn't want advance critique on this one cause it's all too late. Ass or no ass, I'm sure Vic will like it

What do you mean? That 's not conversing. Conversting is social chat. I'm not sure why you're trying to get at me. Is it cause of what I said on the member's page? I'm just trying to help. Otherwise, I have other art that I'd appreciate critique on more than this one. Most of my other art is labelled Advance critique. This one however, it's too late to do anything on. It's sent off to be printed as of yesterday.

Don't worry. It obviously wasn't a problem (which I didn't think it would be) if you don't remember. Artistic convo is good, but if someone has labelled something to say they don't want crit, then don't give it. Seriously- you can strike up convos with the positive side of art better anyways :p
