I used a reference picture if that's what you mean. I think this is one of my better Sesshomaru pictures. The colors look nice I think.

Yay!I think you will end up liking the show. It is awesome! VIZ and Ocean's Group studios do a great job of portraying Rumiko Takahashi's beloved characters. I also think it's one of my better drawings and that was so sweet of you to say. I think I am starting to improve little by little thanks to practicing and thanks to all of the wonderful advice i get from you and everyone else at this site. Thank you so much for being so supportive of me and my niece. I know it means alot to her to have someone (besides me) help her improve her skill. Thanks again. And I hope you like Inuyasha. I watched 1 episode 2 years ago and I was hooked!

Wow, a whole year? That's a long time. I hope to be a part of this for a long time too. As long as I have a sharp pencil and something to draw on. *smiles* I am so glad I found this site and became a member. I have fallen in love with all of the people on here. Everybody is so supportive and that's what makes a site great. I originally was part of TheOtaku.com, and still am, but I don't feel as much a part of that site as I do this one. Everybody is so quick to offer a compliment or advice to help each artist become their very best. As far as my critiques go, I try to offer the best advice as I can. It's one thing to look at a picture and say, " Good job. I like it." It's more personal if you tell the artist what you liked about their picture. That's what I try to do. And that's what I'm currently teaching my niece how to do. (She's animegurl94.) I think the best way to grow as artists is to learn from our mistakes and triumphs and run with it. Thank you for being so supportive of me and my work. I hope we'll have many more years reviewing each other's work.

Wow, thanks so much. What a compliment! Okay... you are now, officially, my best friend! lol I hate the way his skin turned out in this one. It looks mottled, but, oh well. I've been trying to think of ways to fix it without damaging the picture. It was a new technique I used for the first time and I didn't like it. I used a bit of pointalism on the fur to give it that "textured" look. I love how his armor turned out though. That's probably my favorite part of this picture. With the exception of his (oh so beautiful ) face. If you like the picture, and you like to fantasize about him, you should definately check out my fic that I have posted on this site. Actually it's in the Red Curtain room because it's a lemon. Guess who's my main character? It's called Somewhere to Belong. I'm quite proud of it. It's the very first fanfic I ever did and I'm happy with how it turned out. I'd be honored if you'd read it.

i do too, i do it alot. maybe after you get done with your stories you can start to draw characters from them. most people do..well that have drawing talent anyway.

I actually have done a character portrayal of Suko, the girl in my story. I have a little bit of work to do on her, but as soon as I get it done, I'll post it. I really enjoyed your story so far. You have wicked talent, babe. I love how you leave your audience hanging at the end of your chapters. That's excellent. It makes them want to come back and read more. Keep it up!

Well, the whole anime thingie in Finland has started about a 6 months ago i think... Although i have been "interested" (dunno what word should describe it...) in anime for an year now.

Yeah! Rock on! I love it that she's always wanting to be his lovey-dovey, but he doesn't really pay any attention to her. And what was up with that hand of his? I would have chopped it off a long time ago. lol

But i love that scene, wher Meier walks out of his cart into the sun to get her back. Another scene that i love is Charlotte's death at the castle, it had me eyes water (bah! Like i would have cried in that scene every time i see it! seriously... Now why are you giving me that look?) Ending is always funny, no matter how many times you watch it.

I think it's the only portayal of him that I've seen online that I've liked, actually. Not that I'm an expert on art in general, but I mean--you know what I'm talking about, right? A lot of Sesshomaru pictures out there just don't... Well, speak in the volume that this picture does.

It's insanely good for something that was done in traditional media. You should be proud that you were capable of pulling this off as well as you did without the aide of a computer to do your dirty work ;p

I'm trying to learn how to use it, but I think I prefer coloring my pictures myself. It just gives them that certain unique touch, you know? I used to just leave all of my drawings in pencil until I discovered the wonderful world of color. *smiles* Now, I try a bunch of different techniques to give my pictures a little oompf. He is a great character, Ive seen every episode aired in the U.S. so far and I'll watch til' the end. fangs... I talked my dentist into making them for me, he did it for free too. So that was a pretty sweet score.

Indeed. That is so cool that he made them for free. I need to find a dentist like that. I have always wanted vampire teeth. Just because they look cool. Not because I ahve a thirst for blood. In all actuality, I would be a bad vampire because the sight of blood makes me squeamish and I am a vegetarian. But at least I would look cool.

A vegetarian vampire, lol... Now that is a great concept. That would be an extremely conflicted soul.
