Ginkitsune Kuma and Fuji

Ginkitsune and kuma, a couple of original characters of mine, enjoying the view of Mt. Fuji at sunset. The two are a couple of supporting characters from my Shibori's Tail story, who’ve been demanding to be drawn. Perhaps I’ll actually write the story someday….

Ginkitsune (silver fox) is a 700 year old trickster/teacher demon fox, who's capricious nature causes anyone with him no end of troubles, even though he means no harm.  Kuma (bear) is a bit of an artistic dreamer, which is unfortunately incompatible with the fact that his family are peasant farmers. Poor Kuma set out to catch a chicken thief, but has been caught by the fox demon's glamour, and is now totally mesmerized by the white haired trickster .
