The last in a series of masquerade portraits done in 2005, matching three of my characters to the animal/creature they most associate with. This one is Morgan, and his theme is ravens to represent mystery, pride, cunning, and darkness. There's some vidaugs in the border, too.
The other two portraits in my gallery are "Silence of Butterflies" and "All is Vanity".

I adore this series, but of the three, I believe this is my absolute favourite. His expression and the arrogance he exudes are done perfectly. Your pencilwork with the feathers is also exquisite. I'd love to see more graphite from you, as you manage to slip in so much detail onto something as small as printer paper (which is what I use, too).
