Yeah, I do agree with the line width- but would too thick a line detract from the fine detail effect of the piece? Perhaps putting contrast of shading to more use could achieve the perspective effect too, what do you think? |

Alatariel (Reply)Total Posts: 92Aug 21, 2007 2:42 pmMmm... of course a too thick line would distract the attention from where you want it to be, so you have to find the correct thickness, I usually work with a 0.5 pencil for both the first plane lines and front shadows, that way I can achieve a certain balance of thickness and detail. --- ~If you have no imagination, you have no wings~ |
