Artist's Comments

A painting commissioned by Amaranth Games for an upcoming title of theirs.  This took around three weeks of work, and I must say I enjoyed it, when I wasn't frustrated with painting the leaves..  The castle's my favorite part.  Oh, and the glowing ball in the girl's hands is a song-sphere, kinda like the magical equivalent of an iPod, I suppose.  XD

I don't think I can say enough how much I love your nature scenes. They are, to me, more stunning than the beautiful figures you draw.

Oh dear lord — LEAVES!

*passes out*

*comes to*

Okay, yes. Oh those leaves are mindblowing, and I love the shafts of light coming in from the right.

I also love the smoky mistly clouds, that's an effect I've always struggled with.

That castle is really neat: I like how you've made it in outlines only; it really gives the piece a feeling of distance and depth. I feel like I could walk right into it.

And at the prospect of a magical iPod, it is temping indeed!

This is so incredible words can't even describe it.

Also, got any of those song spheres in a 60GB model?
