Took me probably twelve hours or so collectively to finish this and I'm liable to toy with it a little more in the future but for now I need to just stop looking at it. 60 something layers, 112.8 MBs. Photoshop was choking. The final decision of hues for this piece were inspired by 19th century Middle Eastern watercolour which I felt suited it well enough.
Title is taken from VAST's song of the same title. I think overall it fits the relationship between Sibylla and Balian of Ibelin. Princess and later Queen of the Latin Kingdom of Jeruslam, she is as much a temptress as Deliah, not wicked but self motivated. A woman of extreme power and wealth willing to do what she must to hold onto a kingdom.
