Cherished colored

Artist's Comments

When I first started this one, I decided then and there that I would use the very same colors as in the "Predator" drawing. So, her shirt is the same color, his clothes are the same color, and his hair is the same color as the rose in the other.

I wasn't as meticulous with the coloring in this one as I was on that one, but I'm sure I'll go back to it now and again to tweak it; I always do that.

I think that the soft sensitive way you colored this piece is really lovely. Thanks for sharing it with us.

wow, the technique is really cool---is it mixed media? It looks like a wood relief. [emoticon] Beautiful emotion, and coloring--Kurama was always a sucker for the raven haired-ones. And Kagome for the Canine variety...=P

Thanks! I am pretty fond of this one. The emotion came out for this drawing really early, and the hands were added later, so it punches.

The technique is actually just pencil with coloring on a program called Recolored. The program is meant for black and white photos, but it works well for the black and white graphite drawings, too! ^_^
