There are a lot of L (or DN) fanarts out there which explore L's oddities too comically or too dramatically or even for explicit fandom's sake, but I think this piece just balanced the right amount of conservativeness with expressiveness to bring out an L who is as odd as he always is, yet also have a sense of depth in personality.

Plus, the still-life quality on the teawares is simple a wonderful aspect in this picture to show that the artist (you) was not only trying to doodle out a fanart, but was actually dedicated to producing something of quality.

Might be even better if the solidity of the silverwares can be contrasted against a softer rendering of his hair (though his hair could really be tousled after days without wash).

This came out really nicely. [emoticon] It looks like he's missing part of his little finger, though.

Best part of the image: The reflective texture of the dishes.

This is kind of a negative thing, since the focus of the image is lost as i set focus on the dishes.

That said, the shirt looks great. The pinky finger though, while looking as though it should be out reaching (perspective making it look small), instead appears as if he's missing a pinky.
