Why did the Faery cross the road?
They wait there and continue to wait until someone travels down the road, then they cross. Not to get to the other side but just to be a problem. Just to get in your way with their wings and fluttery things.

zacula (Reply)Total Posts: 649Jan 17, 2006 3:11 pmThank you very much, I like to put a dark touch into things. I too like morbid fairies better than the sparkly sunshine and smiles faery. Thanks again for the comment. |

LilimayhemTotal Posts: 1424Jan 13, 2006 6:30 amThis is somewhat less sombre than what i've seen from you Zac! I haven't seen all your artwork mind you... But i do love it, she's got such a face, like she's pretending to be this cute harmless thing...her eye gave her away! --- Dont take life too seriously, you're gonna die anyway... |

zacula (Reply)Total Posts: 649Jan 17, 2006 3:15 pmThank you, yeah most of my work dwells on the darker side of things and in a way this one has a touch of that. Yet now and again I like to lighten the mood a little with something more playful.... this was my attemp. I'm happy to hear you like it. |

Lilimayhem (Reply)Total Posts: 1424Jan 17, 2006 9:00 pmI agree, it still has a goth look to it, sprinkled with a bit of innocence. Btw, i just noticed the guy (tsk tsk, note to self pay more attention) laying beside the doglike creature. Nice touch! --- Dont take life too seriously, you're gonna die anyway... |

thedemonsessTotal Posts: 530Jan 13, 2006 9:27 amThis is wonderful, Zacula. I especially like the hooved feet on the fairy, it really adds a nice touch to her. And I also like the dude with the pitchfork in the background there. Great job. --- |

I like how you changed up the image of the fairy from a cute little sparkly thing to a trouble making but innocent creature. The pose is great and I just love every thing about this pic.
