Emotional Roller Coaster

I am absolutely in love with this show too. And Brethesen got me hooked on it. I had never heard of it until he told me about it. And I am glad he did because now I am hooked. I haven't seen the whole series yet. Just bits and pieces. The last episode I have seen so far is where Shinji's dad makes him destroy the one Eva that is being piloted by his friend because it has been possessed by an Angel. My fave episode so far is the one where Shinji gets his first "thermal Expansion" when he's listening to Asuka and Misato talking. That one is priceless. This show is great. I love it. Aww, you say the sweetest things to me. And I will cherish your heart forever and ever. Anyways, Shinji is really easy to fall in love with. This poor kid was abandoned by his father at a very young age (his mother died) and when he turned 14, his father sent for him so that Shinji could pilot a huge robot known as an Eva to rid the world of evil monstrous demons known simply as Angels. Every time Shinji climbs into the Eva, he puts his life on the line. And he does it to gain the love and respect of his cold-hearted father. All he wants is his father's approval. Sad huh? So throughout the whole series, we get to witness Shinji's emotional hell and it makes you just want to grab him and hug him. But anyways, thank you so so much for your compliments sweetheart. You are always so terribly kind and loving to me. And I am LOVING coloring my art in my paint shop. It is time consuming, but my goodness the results are beautiful. And I am feeling so much better now though I have an appointment with my doctor later this week to discuss my surgery. I will be so happy when I can be completely better. It is wonderful and definitely my most favorite aside from Inuyasha. Brethesen got me hooked on it. I believe he even just wrote a poem about the show. That's how much he is obsessed with it. Shinji is definitely my most favorite character in the show simply because he has such a hard time facing his "demons." I have always loved the more "complex" characters. Those are his 2 most favorite anime characters, so I thought it would be neat to have them both on the same page. So I have the lineart done, I just have to color it now.
