This is really neat,
I love the way you've basically built this scene from the character and the hat...Very simplistic, and very awesome! And I'm absolutely envious over your linework/control; that's the one thing I vy for in my life! [emoticon]

*blushing* aww, thank you so much! This was done with a brush and india ink, and then some ink pen to touch up and the words (obviously). So to have you give such a compliment really makes my day because I felt very shaky using a brush for once. THank you again!

Great line work! And the composition is just right with the hat to keep it balanced and to centered.
