A character drawing done for my friend K. Bradley of her character Amadrienshyl Taralas. He is from her Elftown RP Book of Ajia and is of the Anchient species and a King. If you're familiar with Elftown, you should check out the RP. Its an awesome story and a great read! [emoticon]

It's a good piece- the character looks great, the colors are good, the design and drawing of the spear-thing is especially awesome. It's only two things that bring this down a bit, I think:
-the trees, which might need some working
-the "another tunic lost" part + his lack of shirt- which reveals the intentions of artist: not for art per se, but for "man flesh".

All harsh things said, this is still quite wondeful. (applaud)

LOL! Yup, I drew it solely for man flesh though more to appease the character's owner than myself. (Too short for my liking and I'm not big into guys with wings). The spear design I can't take credit for though. I drew it on the character owner's original design.

I hate backgrounds. >< I'm just no good at them. This piece is also several years old and though I'd like to say my backgrounds have improved, truth is I avoid them like the plague. Thank you for your critique! I appreciate it.

"Yup, I drew it solely for man flesh"
Haha, an artist who actually admits it with good humor- very rare indeed.

Hehe, background can be a real pain, but also really fun depending on whether you choose to use it merely as a backdrop or a more active part of the pic.

Well some days all I have is my humour. [emoticon]

I like drawing 'man flesh' drawings simply because I like man flesh. Its also good anatomy practise for me too.
