Um, I don't really do fanart, but after reading a ton of the Fullmetal Alchemist comic, I was inspired to draw Edward in my style as one of my characters. (Thus the clothing) The staff behind him is an alchemic symbol of the winged serpent on the cross.

ah yes, the serpant crucifiction. That is a very well done piece. I like it. Especially the facial features and clothing. Very nice job, definately a favorite.

Wow, I haven't logged in forever and I forgot how to actually use this site. ^_^; Anyway, My response is that the cross/serpent are popular images in old alchemic manuscripts. So, that's why that's there. ._.;
