This little character doodle depicts the heads of the Gein household; Lady Shadouria Gein and her husband Lord Symon Gein (also known as Corvus). They made their fortune by adventuring, stealing, plundering and ransacking. Shadouria is a selfish bandit and the real star of the show. Corvus is a necromancer who mainly just follows her around and enjoys the booty in a dignified manner. (His hair is not naturally white, btw. He dyes it! What a poseur!)
As a heraldic symbol the surgiant cockatrice symbolizes terror to all beholders. In this case it's also a self-proclaimed king. The family motto means that "glory should be given to those who deserve it".
