Wha... Computer colouring takes way way longer for me than traditional media... I guess because I'm just not used to it?
Anyhow - I used one texture from a free texture site:
http://www.esaudrae.net/textures.php
the rest of everything is done by hand.
As stated in the lineart, this is my portrayal of Arkillian's character Athena being punked up and sexy. : I think the next one will be a duo.
Enjoy, folks!

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1916Oct 13, 2006 12:59 pmI concur... My figure is not so good, either. So I enviously design clothes I cannot wear. Working on that, though. My friend's wedding is next August, and my goal is to be a size 10. --- |

I'm gonna go start bellydancing classes for fitness fun. So far just the walking thing has lost me 10 pounds... Yay! ANyway, enough about health. BRING ON THE DOUGHNUTS! --- |

arkillian (Reply)Total Posts: 2994Oct 13, 2006 7:42 pmDon't worry hon- its a compliment. Dragons, although they are full on to the woman they chose, don't normally get nose bleed reactions XD That however WOULD give one --- |

puayenTotal Posts: 177Sep 3, 2008 4:44 pmWow, I saw this and immediately I thought: this is of a HIGH calibre. The detailed patience paid to the outfit is wonderful. There's only two things that I could complain about XD : 1) the netting of the stocking seems a bit more careless compared to the dress, 2) might be better if the background could communicate with the character even more solidly. Otherwise, WOW. |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1916Sep 4, 2008 8:21 amNot my first shot at a computer program, luv. I have a tablet now, yes. My first shot at a computer program (and many tries after) were all done by mouse and can be seen on page 13-14 of my gallery. One is "Requiescant en Pace"... and I think the other is called "At the Window" or something cheesy to that effect. I used the Gimp to draw them. --- |

Minimaid (Reply)Total Posts: 1916Sep 5, 2008 8:32 amIndeed - at least, most of them did. Mainly it was my first piece with a tablet, so I wanted to use photoshop because it has a good sensitivity thingy... At least, I -think- this one was done with a tablet. It's been so long, I may be misremembering. --- |
