This is a picture I drew of Kenshin from the show "Rurouni Kenshin". I drew this in pencil and colored it with colored pencil. I put the background (which is not mine...I got it from digitalblasphmey.com) in with Adobe Photo Delux 1.1.

 Lady Anime79Total Posts: 2835May 27, 2005 10:40 amI can't believe that's colored pencil! You have it blended so beautifully. His eyes are so amazing. You did a great job particularly on those. I love the scar on his cheek too. The only tiny little suggestion I have is to make the line for the sword (the part that's flush with his neck ) a little darker so it stands out against his flesh. Other than that, it's perfect. This is by far my favorite one of yours, so far. Excellent work! --- Laughter is the best medicine and your face is curing the world. |

Maybe I'll scan the originals again sometime and put them in my unfinished section so people can see the difference between what I did with the pencils and what I did with the background and tools in photo delux. You know “anonymous�, if you wanted to flame my drawing you could have at least had the fortitude to use a words more evocative and dramatic than just plain old "ugly". I know that is what people probably call you all the time, but my GOD--use a Thesaurus! Expand your limited vocabulary and make it interesting! Example: “This drawing, which looks as though you have birthed it from the very bowels of hell and which I have had the incredible misfortune of laying my poor soiled and violated eyes upon, is so disgustingly repulsive that I am shocked I have not yet expired from the unimaginable devastation its hideousness has evoked upon my very soul.� I realize you are probably a little slow on the uptake, however, your flame is miserably disappointing to my standards and you have insulted me with your lack of thought that went into writing it.
