This is a copy of a painting I did for my watercolor class as an excersise in understanding a master work. This is a non-profit painting created as a study only.
The original painting was created by Aelbert Cuyp in 1660. His masterpiece was painted with oils on canvas and can be seen at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.

I especially like how the sail in the forefront came out. --- If there's a 50% chance something may go wrong, there's 90% chance that it will. A fine is a tax for doing wrong.
