Sun and Air

Meet Aleskey Kantha Faro Lementha Esra'lo'Elva, aka Lexi. He's my baby, that one character you huddle to your bosom and say MINE! Yes...he's my favorite. Many of my other characters are not resentful, however. Often the favorite characters of mine are the most tortured. XD

Lexi has led a tough life. He was orphaned at age 7 (human years), forced to wander and scavenge for food for he is being chased by those that murdered his people, then being pitied by a mysterious vampire, who he would later learn was one of the most feared and formidable. This vampire helps him to find homes and friends, though many of the individuals this halfbreed fire elemental sun elf meets are less than reputable. Among the rogues are Sigmund and Gwyndolin, sibling werewolf thieves in the lowest rungs of old English society; A sea wench piratess captain named Nadine, who is the first to teach young Lexi the corrupt yet lavish world of sexual splendor; A vampire bookseller named Thaddeus whose books aren't for the normal of souls or necessarily the pure hearted.

Christian, the vampire benefactor one might call him, comes and goes as he wills, and as Lexi grows older he is forced to spend more and more time alone...a spree of traveling as a vagabond sends him spiralling into the arms of many a lonely woman, and as the years progress he grows to hate the lifestyle he has found himself immersed in. He finds Gwynn after a long time apart, and she is the last woman he takes to bed before he announced celibacy.

Modern times finds him being taken in by a washed up hippie known as Eddie, who hooks Lexi up with all he needs to be his own merchant. When Eddie passes, Lexi inherits his antique shop - among other businesses that happen in the back - and his new family are the humans who work for him. But the monsters that have chased him for centuries find him once more and force him to move to America. Here he will truly find bonds of togetherness, when he discovers another world of elves, and they take him in as their own...
