Wash away the thoughts inside that keep my mind away from you.
No more love and no more pride...and thoughts are all I have to do.
Ooh, remember when it rained, I felt the ground and looked up high and called your name
Ooh, remember when it rained...in the darkness I remain.
Tears of hope run down my skin, tears for you that will not dry.
They magnify the one within and let the outside slowly die...
Ooh, remember when it rained, I felt the ground and looked up high and called your name
Ooh, remember when it rained...in the water I remain...
Running down...(repeat)

My character Crispin again, in the water of the pond named after him, feeling the presence of the one he loved and lost. Her name is Cassara and she lingers still, trapped in spirit and chained by love to the earth. Together they both mourn and remember eachother...

RaeMae (Reply)Total Posts: 155Sep 25, 2007 8:09 pmThat's a lot of people's focal point I've noticed...the water's reflection. I haven't really drawn water too much, but it's really fun. --- GOD SAVE THE QUEEN |

RaeMae (Reply)Total Posts: 155Sep 25, 2007 8:07 pmWow, thank you so much for the wonderful comments! It actually wasn't the original intent to draw this for the song, but that gorgeous song always reminded me of the character. So I'm so happy it came out well... --- GOD SAVE THE QUEEN |

RaihonnaTotal Posts: 6Feb 21, 2008 11:08 pmI love this. I was surprised to see this here, because when I listen to that Josh Groban song, this is exactly the kind of scene I imagine.. someone standing in the water like your picture, (a male too, in my mind because it's J.B.) looking up in trance or something, or trying to connect with someone in soul .. Great job, it's my favorite one of yours so far. I haven't seen them all. |

RaeMae (Reply)Total Posts: 155Feb 23, 2008 7:50 pmOh thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I heard that song and about died, and it fit this character so well, especially since the pond he's standing in is an integral part of his story. I've wanted to illustrate it for a while and it's really one of my favorites too. Thanks so much again! --- GOD SAVE THE QUEEN |
